Acorn's Story

Meet Awesome Acorn at the Fairmount PetSmart adoption center!

Watch me on Bridge Street on Channel 9! I was such a good boy on my TV debut! https://www.localsyr.com/bridge-street/adoptable-pet-of-the-week-acorn/

This handsome guy is the perfect gentleman and such an incredibly sweet boy. He loves to lounge around and get petting and attention. He's also vocal and will let you know when he wants you to do something for him, such as feed him or give him some back scratches. Acorn loves other cats and is looking for a home with another kitty friend he can hang out with.

At 2.5 years old, Acorn has been through a lot, but you would never know it from his laid back and friendly personality. He was rescued from a very bad situation in the city of Syracuse and came into foster care with a fractured wrist. Thankfully, he has healed up beautifully and he's never let his difficult past get the better of him!

Acorn is a big guy looking for a life full of love and pampering. You'll wonder how you ever lived life without this wonderful companion!

Apply online at cnycatcoalition.org/adoption-application (say you saw Acorn on Petfinder).

Your donation of $120 will contribute to the cost of veterinary treatments the cat has received, such as spay/neuter, rabies and distemper vaccines, testing, microchipping, deworming medication, and flea and ear mite treatments.

Adoption includes a free lifetime microchip registration!

CNYCC is a New York State Registered Shelter/Rescue, Registration Number: RR099
