Abner

Meet Abner!<br/>Abner has been a patient here since he was a young cat! He is the sweetest guy but unfortunately his owners needed to rehome him due to personal reasons. In the meantime, Abner has made himself right at home here, but we know he would love being in a warm, comfy home instead. <br/>Abner is the definition of a gentle giant. He is more on the independent side but loves scratches and getting brushed! He loves spending his time enjoying a nice quiet cat nap or looking out the window to see if he can spot any birds. <br/>One of our employee's briefly fostered Abner for a little and saw his true personality bloom! He has his favorite toys, and when he's not taking a nap, loves to chase them around. We believe he would do good in a single cat household or possibly even one with another cat, but one that enjoys the more peaceful things in life!<br/>Abner is going through a weight loss journey in order to prevent any possible health concerns that may arise from it in his later years. During this journey Abner does need to be on a special, prescription diet to help aide his weight loss. Also, it would be encouraged to help get him moving a few times a day to get his exercise in, like we said he does love his toys! <br/>Abner is already neutered, up to date on his vaccines and has tested negative for FELV and FIV. <br/>If you think Abner might be the right fit for you or a great addition to your family, please fill out an application and we will be happy to set up a time for you to meet this gentle giant!
