Abigail has already lived a lifetime's worth of adventures at just one year old, and now she's ready to leave the outdoors behind and become someone's beloved shadow.<br/><br/>Before coming into foster care, Abigail was found surviving on the streets of Milwaukee while raising her baby, Mavis (also adoptable). This devoted mama did whatever it took to keep them both safe. These days, Abigail has traded survival mode for snuggle mode.<br/><br/>Once she decides you're her person, Abigail becomes a full-fledged Velcro cat. She'll greet you at the door, follow you from room to room, and happily supervise whatever you're doing. She loves attention, enjoys lots of pets, and would be thrilled to curl up beside you for a cozy nap.<br/><br/>Abigail enjoys wand toys and toys that move on their own. While she appreciates playtime, her favorite activity is simply spending time with her people.<br/><br/>Because of her difficult past outdoors, Abigail would much prefer to be the queen of her castle. Life on the streets meant competing with and defending herself from other animals, so she is happiest and most relaxed as the only pet in the home.<br/><br/>Abigail's dream home is a quiet, low-activity home with one or two adults, or a family with older, respectful children who understand cat boundaries.
