Abigail's Story

Abigail is a 9yr old spayed medium haired tortie who was left behind when her owner passed away. The relative's plan was to put her outside, a place she had never been but fortunately Feline Lifeline was contacted and Abigail was rescued. Abby, as she is affectionately known, is a very sweet girl who loves pets and being around people. The shock of losing her longtime companion resulted in her being shy after being brought into foster care. Within a couple days though she enthusiastically greeted her foster family when she saw them. Abby is always looking for pets and attention and even loves to play. She will be Ok with another cat or two and probably a calm dog. With the large amount of foster cats in her foster family's house Abby tends to stay away from them but lately has been sleeping on the bed in their vicinity. At night she always comes to bed to sleep with her foster family. If you are willing to give a mid age cat who still has years to go and will make an amazing companion a chance then Abby is the perfect cat for you. Once settled she truly loves being around people, showering them with purrs and love.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS: Please apply for adoption by filling out an application at www.FelineLifelineSC.org. Once your application is reviewed, a volunteer will contact you within 48 hours for an interview by phone or send an email. (Be sure to check your "SPAM" folder.) If approved, we will schedule a meeting between you and the cat to make sure you both like each other. Please be aware we have a variable adoption fee that ranges from $75 to $300, depending on how much money we've invested in the cat. Our primary goal is to find good homes for our cats, and we never profit from adoption fees. Thank you for your interest!
