Abercrombie (Abbie)'s Story

Abbie is a foster favorite in the most serious way possible. If there were a “Most Loved Foster Cat Ever” award, he’d already be napping on the trophy.

This sweet, affectionate boy lives for quiet moments with people and will happily claim your lap as his favorite place in the world. He leans into every pet, and radiates that soft, steady comfort we love so much from a companion. He’s easily one of the most affectionate cats we’ve ever met.

Abbie was rescued after being hit by a car, and while his legs healed a little crooked and he’s still regrowing some fur where a wound once was, none of that has dimmed his spirit. He moves at his own comfortable pace and carries himself with pure joy. His gentle nature and constant affection make you forget his scars within minutes of meeting him.

He gets along wonderfully with other cats and is especially fond of the dogs in his foster home, often greeting them with soft affection and calm companionship. Abbie is fully vaccinated, neutered, and medically cleared from his injuries.

His foster family is excited to see him find the loving forever home he deserves, and they are absolutely certain of one thing: whoever adopts Abbie is going to be incredibly lucky. This lovable boy doesn’t just join a home—he fills it with love!

Abbie is being fostered in Siloam Springs AR

We have an application that must be filled out. We will contact you within 24 hours to review your application verbally and answer any questions you may have about a potential pet. After that we schedule a meet and greet with potential families. If the vibes are good we proceed with a foster to adopt trial- ALL adoptable animals must go through a 2 weeks trial. This gives the adopting family 2 weeks to decide if it's the right fit and provides a 2 week respite for the foster family while also holding the pet's foster spot open incase it is not the right fit! If it is the right fit then at the end of the 2 weeks we will sign adoption contracts and have adoption fees paid.
