Abel's Story

Our rescues mean a lot to the vet staff and DunRoamin' volunteers. We do everything we can to find the perfect homes for these pets, who are being given a second chance at a happy life. The application process requires pre-adoption applications, references, and interviews with you and those listed on your application in order to ensure a successful placement. If interested, please COMPLETE AN APPLICATION at https://form.jotform.com/60793520585259

"Abel" came back to us on April 20, 2018 from Woodstock where he had been adopted in December 2015. He had originally come to us from Lakeville in 2012 where he was one of several cats who were hanging around a home but had no one to care for him. He, his brother Abner and sister Avis came to us all at the same time. Able and Avis have since been adopted.

Abel is a sweet little boy who was originally very timid and needed his brother Abner to feel safe, but he's now very confident and secure and happy on his own. Abner is eating a diet of Royal Canin Urinary S/O food to make sure that he is healthy as he has a tendency to block if he eats other foods. We have had dozens of cats who have been placed on this diet and it works extremely well - no problems at all, as long as they eat this diet.

Abel is currently in a foster home where he will be loved, cuddled and doted upon until he is chosen for a permanent home! He was born about April 1, 2012. Please come meet him - you'll fall in love!
