Abby is a beautiful orange and white Tabby, born in December 2017, with a soft and sweet personality. She arrived at the shelter through no fault of her own, as her beloved owner had to transition to a senior care center. Abby came with her daughter, Eva, and these two shy but loving girls are deeply bonded and need to be adopted together. Though both are a little timid, Abby is the braver of the two and has shown her gentle, trusting nature during her time at the shelter. She never hisses or swats and is always calm. Abby enjoys quiet play and adores gentle, slow pets—she just needs a bit of patience and a calm approach. With her, everything is about trust and tenderness. Abby is searching for a forever home where she and Eva can feel safe and loved. They’ll thrive in a peaceful, patient household where they’re given time to adjust. Bulverde Area Humane Society's Adoption Policy

Our adoption procedure begins with the completion of the Adoption Contract, which can be downloaded on our website at www. bulverdeareahumanesociety.com Your new friend will be ready for their new home after review by one of our Adoption Counselors. All of our animals are spayed/neutered prior to adoption and have been tested for heartworm or feline leukemia / aids. They all have their age appropriate vaccinations. All puppies, dogs & kittens are microchipped. If you're considering adopting a dog who will join one already in your home. We encourage Meet and Greets. Visiting dogs must be spayed or neutered and have proof of current vaccinations. Talk to a staff member about scheduling your Meet and Greet session before coming out with your dog. And thanks for considering a shelter pet!
