Abby is a sweet-natured, zen 6-month-oldkitty who enjoys the action—but on her own terms. Don’t get us wrong, she’ll absolutely join in on a game of chase with her brothers, but she won’t fight for herturn. Instead, she waits patiently, and if her brothers get too rowdy, she simply flops down in the middle of the chaos and takes a nap. Nothing ruffles Abby’s chill demeanor! When it comes to mealtime, though, she’s right there with the crew, waiting in line like the good girl she is. We think Abby would do well as an only cat. She has been spending less time with her siblings and we think the one-on-one time will help her come out of her shell. She is shy so does need a patient cat-savvy adopter. Grateful Paws NJ's Adoption Policy

1. Submit Application https://forms.gle/TN5hH92GYfXVrYev5 2. Interview After we receive your application, we will set up a virtual interview/homecheck to meet you and make sure your home is safe for animals. 3. Meet the Pet Depending on where you live and where the pet is fostered, you can either meet the animal virtually or in-person. 4. Sign Adoption Contract Once you're approved as an adopter and you're 100% the animal is the one for you, we send you an adoption contract to sign. 5. Pay Fee Once the adoption contract is signed, we request the adoption fee. We collect adoption fees via Venmo, PayPal, cash or check. 6. Take the Pet Home Once the contract is signed and the fee is paid, it's time for you to bring your new pet home! We take time to get to know you and what you're looking for in your next best friend. Our interview process is extensive. Our relationship doesn't end at adoption day - we are here for any questions or concerns along the way!
