Abby's Story
Dear Abby, I’ve had cats before, but I’ve never had a girl named Abby. Tell me, Abby, what is it like being you? Can you give me some advice for adopting a shy cat? – Signed, Wondering. Abby says: Dear Wondering, I am a pretty, young adult, and yes, I was quite shy when I first came to Paws and Claws. When I got to my foster home, I hid under a chair for several days, and the lady didn’t see me until Labor Day, which really WAS “labor” day! I appeared with four kittens who were born on the cat tree! I was a good mother. When the foster lady sat on her porch with her coffee and iPad, I sat behind her, purring like crazy, looking for petting. When she stopped, I’d nibble on her head! After we got to the shelter, my kittens were adopted quickly. It took me a long time to feel comfortable, but now I really like being petted. I even play a bit. I could do quite well in a calm, quiet home. I’d love to go home to be your dear Abby girl, so if you’re still “Wondering," please stop by and pet me. You'll see for yourself what a nice girl I am.

Adoption Fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax
