Abby's Story

Our hearts hurt for sweet Abby - she was adopted from us when she was young and returned..not because of anything she did. Her family decided that they needed to travel and "didn't want the responsibility" any longer. WHAT?? Needless to say, her world has been turned upside down... and she is not even 2 years old.

We are looking for a home for her to be the ONLY PET or a older calm dog. She behaves in the home, she uses her litter box, loves a scratching post but mostly loves a window bed to snooze away the hours. She is not a lap cat but she will come to you for head pets and loves that! Her foster mom gives her head bumps and loves on her and she loves that. Once she trusts someone, she is very loving. She would do ok with kids as long as they are older.

Would you consider helping her? She needs a soft and SECURE place to land
