Abbott's Story

Abbott and his brother Costello were born around 5/20/2024 and have had a rough road to becoming eligible for adoption. They are finally healthy and ready to find a forever home.

These two gorgeous tabby boys (Abbott is gray and Costello is brown) were about a month old and very ill when ACAT took them in. They were surrendered by a person living in a vehicle who had tried their best to take care of the boys, but the boys were getting sicker and not growing. We immediately started treating them with medications and a very nutritionally dense diet. It took them a long time before they started to thrive. Then several months later, they had some stomach issues which set things back again. While they do sometimes have sensitive stomachs that don't react well to all types of food, they are finally settled in and have grown into lovely boys. A little bit shy at first they love food and will happily be your friend if you have treats. These two have been each other's constant companions and playmates. They will specifically seek each other out in a house full of other cats for wrestle time and also to snuggle up for sleep. Ideally these two lovely guys would be adopted together so they can maintain their bond in a forever home.

Costello has received his kitten vaccinations, is dewormed, has been neutered and vaccinated for Rabies. He is also microchipped. He and his brother are fostering in Anchorage. For more information please fill out our preadoption application or call Terri at (907)245-1698. (Please note this is a landline and cannot receive texts.)For general information, contact ACAT at 982-2228. Serious inquiries should complete ACAT's preadoption application found on the adoptables gallery page of our website.
