Abbie's Story

Abbie is a gentle, affectionate girl who gets along beautifully with both cats and humans. She would make a wonderful mentor to younger cats and loves curling up in a fluffy donut bed or cuddling with her favorite people. She's a sweet communicator, often offering chirps and trills.

Before rescue, Abbie lived outdoors and endured a severe tail-base abscess that resulted in a tail amputation. Through it all, she remained incredibly loving and resilient.

Abbie has urinary incontinence and will need lifelong prescription urinary food. Stress can aggravate her FIC (feline idiopathic cystitis), so she does best in a calm, stable home with a predictable routine. During high-stress periods, she may develop bloody urine.

Abbie is a special cat looking for a patient, loving forever home.
