AARUSH's Story
Aarush and Ambrose aren't sure about people, being petted, or how to be more social, but the one thing they're sure of is they absolutely love each other. These two boys are both three years old and came to us as strays 102 days ago. It usually takes scared, shy cats longer to get adopted -- even moreso when they're a bonded pair like Aarush and Ambrose. But we know there's someone out there who will come through for these handsome friends. It's just a matter of finding them! Aarush and Ambrose are very scared in the shelter environment and will likely need a while to adjust to their new home. Slow and steady is the key to winning them over. Oh, and Churu -- lots of Churu! We recently learned that they're big fans of the treat, and Ambrose will even allow head pets while he's eating it! Aarush is the more fearful one of the duo, but even he can't resist the tasty treat! Can your home be the safe space Aarush and Ambrose need to blossom? Their adoption fees have been paid for by a generous donor. We had someone interested in adopting one but not the other, but we won't allow them to be separated. It would be too traumatic for them to be apart. Please, if you're interested in giving these sweet, shy, scared best friends a forever home -- together -- come meet them today! * We don't know if Aarush and Ambrose have lived with dogs before. We recommend slow introductions after they've successfully acclimated to their new home. * Aarush and Ambrose may do well with older children who will respect their boundaries and give them space. * We don't know if Aarush and Ambrose have lived with other cats before. We recommend slow introductions once they've fully acclimated to their new home. * Aarush and Ambrose both weigh a little over 13 pounds each. They've been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. They're ready to go home TODAY!
