7833 Koko's Story

Koko is a world class charmer and cuddler with a gentle heart and a playful streak. He's at home both in your lap or romping with other cats. At four months old, he's friendly, easygoing, and enjoys both snuggle time and playtime. He gets along well with other cats and is comfortable around friendly dogs. Koko is the perfect mix of sweet and silly — a wonderful companion for any family. He would do best in a home with at least one other cat. He would be very happy to be adopted with one of his siblings.

Koko and his siblings — Betty, Minnie, Oswald, and Bosko — are FIV positive. FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is not contagious to people or dogs. It is only transmitted from mother to kittens or through deep bite wounds typical of unfixed stray cats. Cats do not spread FIV through casual contact, sharing bowls, grooming, or normal play.

FIVpositive cats can live long, healthy lives and deserve loving homes just like any other kittens.

Kittens and Cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, appropriately vaccinated and treated for parasites. They are available to inside only homes where they will not be declawed.

Applications to adopt can be found at harthumane.org.

If you cannot adopt a pet at this time but would like to support our rescue, donations can be mailed to Hart County Humane Society P.O.
