Ridgecrest Animal Care & Control's Adoption Policy
The Ridgecrest Animal Shelter adoption process is as follows:
***Call the Shelter for an APPOINTMENT. They will give you further instructions. 760-499-5190***
*If you are applying for a dog and you have other dogs, bring your dog(s) to the Shelter for a meet-an-greet in our play yard
*If you rent, we will call the land lord to verify that you can have a pet
*We will go to your home to do a house check for cats and a yard check for dogs
*After approval, you will return to the Shelter to sign the adoption agreement and pay the fees
*If the animal is already spayed/neutered, you can take it home
*If the animal needs to be spayed or neutered, we will make an appointment with a local vet and let you know what day the appointment is
*The Vet will call you when the surgery is complete and the pet is ready to go home
