205-Travis bonded with Taylor's Story
Meet Travis, a handsome 3-year-old orange tabby who is living in a foster home. He was quite scared at the shelter and tended to hide in his crate. He is blossoming in his foster home with his sister, Taylor and will eat Churu's from his foster mom's hands. He loves to play with wand toys. Travis came to us as a stray after being dumped outside, and while he is understandably nervous, he is showing signs of progress with patience and care.

If you're an experienced cat lover who can offer Travis and Taylor the time and space they need to continue to blossom, they could make wonderful companions. With a little encouragement, Travis has been revealing his sweet side and is growing into the loving cat he was always meant to be.This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home!

Email adoptions@ctcatconnection.org with a question or better yet, complete an application for quickest consideration. (Application: https://www.ctcatconnection.org/adoption-application/).

Select cats can be fostered instead! Apply on our website.

A cat's behavior in the shelter may not be what it will be like in your home; if the cat is nervous, anxious, or agitated, please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat. Most often, in a home, they thrive!

Kitten Policy: Kittens must be able to socialize with other young cats or dogs as playmates, as it is important for their development. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.

Due to demand, we do not place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet all cats or kittens available for adoption at the time of visit.

If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care. Fill out an application, which can be found at https://www.ctcatconnection.org/get-involved/
