Yarrow was rescued from an egg farm in southern California with several other hens, after spending their entire lives in battery cages. When they arrived they were in poor health with pale combs, broken feathers and varying degrees of damaged beaks and nails. Her and her hen friends have made massive improvements to their health and are simply enjoying life with a plentiful supply of food, water and full days of sunlight.
