Hi, I’m Winston!<br/><br/>I’m a young cockatiel, about 11 months old, and I am looking for my forever flock.<br/><br/>I have a lot of very important talents. I can sing, I can chirp the sweetest good mornings, and I have been told my vibrato is quite impressive. I also enjoy watching other cockatiels sing on the iPad, because obviously, I like to study the greats.<br/><br/>I am learning lots of new things. I know how to target train with a stick, both inside and outside of my cage, and I am very good at waiting for my treat. I even take treats right from my foster mama’s hand. I love hanging out with my foster mom while she works from home and going in and out of my cage. Bird mama says I am curious, smart, and interested in people. <br/><br/>I am still hand shy. I am not ready for fingers to touch me just yet, as I am still learning that hands are safe. I need a person who understands that I will do best when I am allowed to build trust at my own pace.<br/><br/>I already eat healthy pellets like a grown-up bird, and I am working on vegetables. I am not fully convinced about those yet, but my foster mom says we are going to keep trying.<br/><br/>My perfect home would be calm, patient, and happy to keep working with me through target training and positive reinforcement.
