Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pets' guardian.<br/>Winnie and Jerry are a bonded pair of female cockatiels and must be adopted together.<br/>Jerry is not hand-tame. Winnie is not currently hand-tame but has previously been very affectionate and responsive. With consistent, patient training, Winnie has strong potential to become handleable again.<br/>They would ideally go to a home without dogs, cats, or young children. If other animals are present, strict separation and safety precautions will be required.<br/>They may do well in a home with other cockatiels or small birds if given adequate space and proper introductions.<br/>They are currently housed in a large cage, but daily out-of-cage flight time or an even larger enclosure is essential. They love flying and exploring, and regularly enjoy supervised free-flight time in the living room. They are confident flyers and enjoy perching on people once comfortable.<br/>Winnie and Jerry will only be adopted to a home with demonstrated cockatiel knowledge and/or prior bird experience. They are not appropriate as holiday gifts.
