My foster family thinks I'm part sweet companion, part professional shoulder ornament, and part tiny feathered supervisor. I love spending my days out and about, climbing, exploring, and chatting away in my cockatiel language. If you're whistling, there's a good chance I'll whistle right back! If you're relaxing on the couch, don't be surprised if I come over to sit nearby and ask for some head scratches. Just a heads up—I prefer to be pet only when I ask for it and for a short time. I'll give you signs when I've had enough, and a little bite if you keep trying. I'm hand tame and like things done on my schedule, but I'm not mean; I just appreciate having my wishes respected.<br/><br/>I can get quite vocal when I feel lonely or think I'm missing out on something exciting in another room. My foster family has seen my screeching decrease since I settled into a routine, but I still have a surprisingly big voice for a little guy like me! I would do best in a home where someone is around often to keep me company. And not a condo or apartment setting, just to be safe. <br/><br/>I don't mind other birds or dogs, but I'm not sure how I'd feel about cats or small children. When it comes to food, I'm a bit particular; I eat ZuPreem Natural pellets and absolutely love spray millet as a treat.
