Ulysses

Hello! My name is Ulysses, and I am 32 years old. I was raised by my previous owner since I was 3 weeks old. I am a beautiful boy and am settling in my Florida Parrot Rescue foster home. <br/><br/>My previous owner said that I seem to prefer females as I considered her my mommy bird. I am shy but generally well behaved. I am pretty quiet in the morning or sunset if I am alone. I do make some sounds I have copied and will call a dog and bark like dog.<br/><br/>Although my previous owner said I do step up and like to be handled, I have not stepped up for my foster mom unless I am on the floor. My foster mom is working on touch training to earn my trust. I have only been with my current foster a little over a month so it will take some time to earn my trust. <br/><br/>I am on a healthy pellet diet, and my favorite treat is shelled almonds.
