Tre's Story

Meet Tre! This young pigeon racing survivor was found very skinny in Skokie, Illinois and is named after a little boy in GLPR volunteer Susan’s condo building who loves pigeons. If his sweet face and pretty brown eyes didn’t immediately win you over, his soft feathers will! He may not be the fanciest looking pigeon of them all, but don’t let that deter you. He’s quite fashionable, with his black nails, black beak, and green iridescent neck, thank you very much. He can also wear some cute pigeon pants for all of his house adventures, to add to his stellar style. His personality hasn’t fully emerged yet, since he has been busy recovering from being underweight and getting used to being around kindness, and he will come out of his shell with some love, treats, and time - all he needs is a loving home of his very own!
