This sweet girl earned her quirky moniker from only having two toes remaining on each foot after surviving a serious case of stringfoot. Stringfoot is a condition where a string, hair, or other trash left behind by people becomes tightly wrapped around a bird's toe or foot, cutting off circulation. If untreated, the affected toes become necrotic and mummified, eventually falling off. Poor Thomasina lost half of her toes this way before being rescued. Despite her special feet, Thomasina gets around just fine by waddle-walking on her remaining two toes per foot. What Thomasina lacks in toes, she makes up for in personality! Thomasina's favorite activites include sunbathing, bathing, foraging for treats, napping on soft cushions, and singing sweet pigeon coos.
