He can become very bonded to his companion. He currently occupies four cages here because he suffers from separation anxiety. We understand why, as he was found abandoned by his previous owner.

Upon his arrival, Sydney saw fresh fruit and veggies in his first cage, and he ate veggies for 10 minutes nonstop. After letting him out to play, we discovered that he is an experienced flyer and lander.

Sydney loves attention, music, TV, dancing, and most of all, showing off. Be sure to view his upcoming video soon.

We are seeking a very special home for Sydney with someone who will allow him to continue flying and showing off. We have learned from experience that clipping the wings of an energetic, spirited bird like Sydney can damage his personality, cause depression, and may even lead to aggression until his wings grow back.

Whoever has the pleasure of adopting Sydney will be very happy with the three cages so he can always be near you. In addition, his adoption fee includes our $500 care package and more to help ensure that he will be happy.

Our care packages include a custom new two-door parrot carrier, six weeks of Volkmann's Special Seed Mix, one 4 lb. bag of Volkmann's Fruit & Goodies, four freshly packaged bags of Volkmann's treats, six assorted bags of Lafebers Nutri-Berries, two different refillable toys with refill packs, one shower perch (if needed), one Wi-Fi camera, one rechargeable misting bottle, one new Magic Bullet blender, three educational books on macaws, specialty parrot cookbooks (Go Raw and Parrots' Fine Cuisine), and much more.
You must have cockatoo experience to be considered for the honor of adopting him.

Qualified adopters may also purchase, at our cost, their choice of a new Manzanita Playpen, a Manzanita Tabletop "T" Perch, or a Manzanita Tabletop Balance Beam Perch. We also offer qualified adopters the opportunity to purchase, at our cost, their choice of a Manzanita Floor "T" Perch or a Manzanita Floor Tree with our custom 2 ft. 2 ft. exotic wood base. You may choose from a solid Black Walnut, Glossy Hickory, or solid White Oak base.
