Hi! My name Sunny, and I am a beautiful Sun Conure. I was found by a kind person who brought me in and gave me to Fl Parrot Rescue. Unfortunately, my owners were not found. I am now ready for my forever home and hope that's you! <br/><br/>I love to fly to my chosen human rather than being picked up from my cage, but I don't mind being handled once I am away from my cage. I can't help being a little territorial when it comes to my space. If I am not riding or sitting on your shoulder, the next best place is sitting on the ledge of my cage while my foster family is around. I am a center of it all kind of guy! I can be choosy with my humans, but I have been known to like both male and females. I am a typical sun conure... I can be very loud at times. It's just the song for my people! But knowing this, I am not suitable for a family who prefers a quiet home or apartment living. <br/><br/>I do have a set morning and bedtime routine, and I dislike changes. I need a home that will keep me on my schedule as it is very important to me. <br/><br/>I can be a picky eater. I prefer seeds and tolerate pellets. I love almonds but I avoid chop. I do eat some fruit and vegetables from a human hand. I will eat scrambled eggs and turkey/chicken.<br/><br/>My current foster home has a dog, and I am unfazed by him, but it is unsure of my compatibility with other birds and pets. As long as they respect me and my space, I am sure we can get along. <br/><br/>I am a great bird and would do best in a home that respects my preferences, provides plenty of out-of-cage time, and can handle noise!
