Spunky's Story
This sweet bird was found outside when she flew up to someone, almost as if she was asking for help! We were shocked when nobody claimed her! She is able to fly, as her wings have not been clipped. Although she is a bit hand shy, she is eager to learn new things. She is definitely lonely and is in need of a furever home with other bird friends.

A bird savvy owner explained that this bird is likely a young female, as her ceres (beak area) is more white than blue, though we cannot definitely confirm.

If you are interested in "Spunky", please call Southbury Animal Control at 203-262-0613 or email aco@southbury-ct.gov .
