Spencer's Story

In March 2024, Spencer joined the Sleepy Hollow Acres Crew after receiving rehabilitative care from a private rescue that recently partnered with SHARA. Spencer does well in his colony. He likes to peck sometimes, but it doesn’t hurt. He loves to fly on his human’s shoulder and is a beautiful spectacle when in flight! He would make an excellent pet for the right family. He cannot be flown freely but currently is able to fly in a 10 x 10 enclosure that completely protects him from predators.
