Rocky & Bullwinkle 4 A Man Only's Story
This wonderful dynamic duo is accustomed to being out of their cage all their life. We are seeking an experienced companion for them who will allow them to stay out of their cage — they are very trustworthy. Their adoption fee is low for the right adopter.

Please do not call us in advance with questions. Instead, fill out the adoption application, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Call Roselle about a Wednesday meet-and-greet with Fagan to confirm the evening appointment.

Bullwinkle and Rocky were surrendered to us by a rural veterinary clinic that had no nearby Humane Society. We were told these two belonged to a man who had passed away, leaving behind several animals and no contact information for family members.
We were blessed with the opportunity to name them. Without a doubt, these two are bonded to one another. We call the little blue Quaker “Rocky” and the orange-wing Amazon “Bullwinkle.”
Rocky (Blue Quaker) loves to sit on your shoulder and rub his head against your neck once he gets to know you. Bullwinkle is the same way—he truly enjoys perching on shoulders. Both are semi-flighted and enjoy flying back and forth to a small tree we’ve set up for them. It’s clear they are accustomed to being let out of their cages.
Bullwinkle, the orange-wing Amazon, is a big talker and is absolutely bonded to Rocky, the blue Quaker. We were recently informed of their ages but received no further details about their previous owner. According to what we were told, Rocky is a 13-year-old blue Quaker, and his inseparable partner Bullwinkle is 16 years old.
We’re seeking an experienced home that will allow these two to continue flying to and from a small portable tree, as they’re used to. They truly must be placed together—they thrive on each other’s companionship.
Their adoption fee is very reasonable and includes their two cages along with our generous care package. While extensive experience isn’t required for this dynamic duo, we are looking for a home with prior bird-handling experience and no children.
Because they are bonded, they must be adopted together. Separating them would likely cause serious behavioral issues, and we have made a commitment to their previous owner that they will stay together.
Please refrain from emailing or calling us in advance with questions.
We appreciate your patience and will get back to you promptly.
It’s important that you reply in a timely manner.
We have a tight timeline, and time spent on potential adopters who are not ready may result in these parrots losing their chance at a forever home to someone who is.
Please be sure to check your email regularly so we can coordinate the interview and meet-and-greet.
