Remy

Remy is a very sweet 13-year-old Quaker parrot with a snuggly personality who loves to share snacks. She often checks in on people if they are in another room. Her favorite foods include apples and bananas, and she also enjoys pellets and chop. At night, Remy likes having newspapers in her cage to drape over herself and tuck in at the bottom before going to sleep. Her foster family has offered her straws and twigs to encourage her natural building instincts—she may be a future "builder"! Remy has plucked some of her feathers when stressed in the past, so an adopter should be attentive to her comfort and well-being. She is a delightful bird, and any adopter would be lucky to have her as a companion. While she can be stubborn about stepping up, she is easily enticed with a treat.

Remy would love a welcome gift!
