Rainbow's Story

Adoption fee is $2500. <br/><br/>We are based in Modesto, California. And we do not ship animals.<br/><br/>Rainbow, is 20 yr old "Ruby macaw" which is a cross breed between Green wing & Scarlet macaws. She has been plucking her feather for a few years, so we are working to address this. As with all large birds, she will require an experienced adopter who is willing to work to build a trusting relationship with her. Shes on a pellet diet, with lots of whole nuts and loves spending time out of her cage.<br/><br/><br/>Please visit our website and fill out the adoption application if you wish to be considered.<br/>www.califidparrotandexotic.com

Cali_FID Parrot & Exotic Rescue is based in Modesto, California and we are dedicated to finding the best home for our exotic pets.  WE DO NOT SHIP ANIMALS. IMPORTANT: If you would like to adopt, please fill out an application on our website https://www.califidparrotandexotic.com/ Any other form of contact may not receive a response. ( check your spam folders ) Please tell us your level of experience, and about your home, other pets, people, etc. there is space on the adoption application, please be sure to completely fill out the form, double check your phone number and email spelling. Once you complete it and return with pictures of your appropriate enclosure or cage, we will set up a meeting.  All adoption fees are due at the time of pick up in CASH or via Venmo or Paypal (we do not take Checks, debt or credit cards). The fees are listed with each animal and vary based on the animal's species and needs. Again, we do not ship animals! ALL ADOPTIONS MUST BE COMPLETED IN PERSON and we will arrange a time and place to meet once the paperwork is completed.
