Popeye

Hi everyone! My name is Popeye, and I am a female double yellow headed Amazon. I am 36 years old. I was surrendered to Florida Parrot Rescue to help find me a wonderful home where I will be given lots of love and attention.<br/><br/>I am blind but that doesn't hinder me one bit! I love to talk, and I love to be around talkative people or birds and join in the conversation! My favorite words to say are "hi, hello, pretty bird, Popeye, are you ok, you're ok, tickle tickle tickle" and then I will laugh and combine the words. I am on 3 liquid medications that are poured in my water. I am a gentle girl but if I feel ignored, I will scream a bit. I would love for my adoptive home to include me in all the happenings and shower me with attention! <br/><br/>Although my previous owner said I step up, I have not stepped up for my foster mom unless I am on the floor. My foster mom is working on touch training to earn my trust.
