Polk's Story

How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on December 6, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Polk! Pigeons are beautiful, intelligent, feathery creatures who are full of personality! Due to their extremely social behavior they do best when living with another bird, or a human whom they can spend all their time with. Pigeons like Polk will need exercise and stimulation just like the rest of us so it is important that they have a safe space to do so, like an aviary. Polk does have a treatable but contagious illness, so he should not be introduced to other birds until it resolves. Some of Polk's favorite things are bathing, lounging in the sun and looking for seeds. Come speak to an adoption counselor to learn more about adopting Polk today! Primary Color: Grey Weight: 0.477kg Age: 1yrs 2mths 2wks
