Pepper's Story

Come meet the smartest dove you'll ever see! Pepper is an approximately 8-year old DNA-Sexed Male Ringneck Dove. He has been thoroughly vet checked. He did get surrender with a wound on his neck, we believe he was bit by a cat so we are recommending Pepper goes to a home without cats. Doves make excellent pets for calm children and the elderly because they do not bite. Their cooing is quite soothing. People think that doves do not play with toys but they do! Pepper's adoption fee is $25. If you are interested in adoption, please go to www.centerforanimalrehab.org, read our Adoption Polices and fill out the Adoption Application. Once your application is approved, we will set up a meet and greet with you/your family. We are located in Waukesha, WI and do not ship. All adopters must live within a 100 mile radius. We do not adopt birds to households that have the opposite gender birds.
