Whether she's bouncing around her cage, dancing her little heart out to Disney tunes, or demanding to inspect your snack supply, Peepers is always ready to be part of the action.<br/><br/>She adores her Harrison's pellets, never says no to veggies, and will happily eat just about anything that lands in her bowl. Cardboard toys? A hit. Being near her people in the living room? The best. She's happiest when she's in the middle of the fun, head-bopping with excitement and soaking up all the attention (but only when she decides it's the right time--consent matters, even in birds!).<br/><br/>Peepers communicates clearly when she's done socializing, making her a great match for someone who understands bird body language and respects her boundaries. She's a loveable, high-energy bird who thrives with companionship, enrichment, and a routine that includes lots of time near her flock.<br/><br/>Peepers has tested positive for Avian Bornavirus (ABV), so she'll need a home that's mindful of regular vet care and understands how to manage that diagnosis. And while we call her "she," her gender hasn't been DNA confirmed.<br/><br/>Because she's a cockatoo (and not shy about expressing herself), Peepers isn't suited for apartment living.
