Hi everybody! My name is Paulie, and I am a beautiful Quaker parrot. Florida Parrot Rescue is not exactly sure how old I am, but the Vet says he thinks I'm 13 years old or a little older. Now that I have settled into my foster home, I am ready to find my forever home with a family who will love me forever!<br/><br/>I am cage aggressive, of course, because I am a Quaker and that is what we do! Please do not let that deter you- once I am outside my cage, I am really fun to watch and just need time to get to know you. Once I feel comfortable with you, I am a great and fun bird for you to be around! I love to play with all the toys in my cage, and I love to throw them on the floor, so watch where you walk! I chit chat all day, but I especially love to say "wacko" and will repeat it almost every time you say it. <br/><br/>I would do best in a home with someone who has had Quaker experience or previous bird experience and understands that cage aggression is typical of my breed. I am eating a healthy diet of Harrison's and Zupreem pellets.
