Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption Center's Adoption Policy

Members of the public interested in adopting should check our current procedures on our Adoption Process page at: https://icanimalcenter.org/158/Adoption-Process Our application form is available there and can be submitted via email. Generally application take at minimum 24 hours to process. You will be asked to think about your adoption decision overnight and call back the following morning to advise us of your final decision. Once the staff has approved your application to adopt, we will call you and set up an appointment to have you pick up your new animal.
