Larry's Story

Larry is a female lilac-crowned amazon, hatched 1982, one owner. She is shy, as she had not been handled for awhile. Larry is under vet observation as foster home works on improving her diet. Vet check ongoing, adoption fee pending.<br/><br/>Update February 2025:<br/><br/>Larry is comfortable and we have fully gotten to know her.<br/><br/>Her poop is finally consistently solid, she loves fruit and veggies and hanging out with her door open and chatting. <br/><br/>She is very chatty but not in an annoying way - she just makes noises to be with humans. She hates cats and will scream at them but stops quickly. <br/><br/>Doc said she was fine as long as we give supplement and we keep poop solid. <br/><br/>Comes with cage. Adoption fee $400 + $30 membership. Must be within driving distance of Salt Lake City.
