He’s eager to explore and ready to take on new challenges in a loving home. <br/><br/>Kiwi’s Specialized Care Needs: <br/>Training and Stimulation: Kiwi thrives with regular training sessions, enrichment activities, and opportunities to learn. <br/>Safe Exploration: He needs a secure space where he can safely explore the floor, furniture, and other areas. Supervised out-of-cage time is a must! <br/>Flight Training: To boost his confidence and fitness, Kiwi will need gradual flight training in a safe environment. <br/>A Loving Caregiver: Whether male or female, Kiwi is happy with anyone who will spend time with him and provide the attention and interaction he craves. <br/>Neutral with Animals: Kiwi has no known history of interactions with animals other than a previous encounter with another Eclectus who was aggressive toward him. His compatibility with other pets would need to be carefully assessed. <br/><br/>Kiwi is in good health and has many years ahead of him—Eclectus parrots can live 30+ years with proper care. He’s currently on a diet of fresh, vitamin A rich vegetables, some fruit and high-quality pellets, which is essential for his vibrant plumage and overall well-being.
