8 young 1yr cuties were surrendered this week to Rock n Rescue and are ready for new homes! Must be adopted in pairs or trios (unless u have a solo parakeet at home in need of a buddy) as parakeets are super social and should not be solo pets! They are used to large flight cages so small cages will not be appropriate. Please research birds before adopting as they live long lives and need a good diet and veggies/fruits plus supplements for life too. Very fun very pretty and learning to play with their toys! NO ONSITE ADOPTIONS UNTIL APPROVED!! All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered - are fully vaccinated - and up to date on necessary vet care. Some animals that are listed are special needs might have chronic problems that the adopter would cover for future vetting, although this is rare.
