Karen & Darren's Story
Meet Karen and Darren, a charming and lively duo of Blue Quaker Parrots who came into care together and are looking for a home to live out their golden years!

These two intelligent birds have big, spunky personalities and share a wonderful bond, often huddling close to support one another. Like most Blue Quakers, Karen and Darren are incredibly social, highly perceptive, and famous for being super chatty—at times, they will even burst into a chorus of wild, loud, laughing noises that are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face!

They would do best with an experienced bird lover since they are not hand tame birds. The duo is quite nippy - and will bite if a finger or nose gets too close! Like all parrots, they require a large enclosure that allows them to move about fly as well as ample out of cage time daily to stretch their wings.

Darren and Karen love listening to music, being spoken to, and will happily quiet down to listen intently whenever you sit and read to them.

If you are an experienced bird lover looking for an engaging, expressive, and deeply bonded pair to fill your home with entertainment and song, please come meet Karen and Darren today.
