Joker's Story

Joker lives up to his name! He certainly is a goofy and silly boy who laughs and will make you laugh with him. Joker, a beautiful Green-winged Macaw with unique coloration, was with his previous owner for 30 years. Sadly, his previous owner passed away, and his out-of-state next of kin reached out to PEAC for help to find him a new home. Joker's previous owner was male, but Joker has proven to be quite the ladies' man. He has a large vocabulary, and one of his favorite treats is a walnut. He's not yet completely converted to a pelleted diet, but he discovering some that he likes. Joker wasn't handled much over the past several years as his owner's health declined, but he trusted and stepped up very quickly for our volunteers and foster. He is a wonderful boy and is ready to find his forever home that is filled with love and lots of attention.
