Jean Valjean's Story
Les Misérables fans know the story of the prisoners who only have a number as a name. As a pigeon racing survivor, I, too, had only a number like 24601. One day when I couldn't find my way back home, I decided that I'm more than that! My name is Jean Valjean and I long for my very own home, where my personality can slowly be discovered.<br/>Lost and alone, I found myself in a yard in search of food and just like the kind bishop who took in the original Jean, I was invited in by a nice lady who found me. Now the hard days of racing are over, and I'm excited to start a new life in a loving home where I don't have to fight for my survival any longer.
