Meet Isaac

Isaac is the fluffiest potato! Ok, we know that might not be the most scientific description of a pigeon, but it’s the most accurate way we can describe Isaac’s adorable shape when he’s engaged in his favorite activity, napping! Isaac was rescued when he walked right up to a kind woman on a city balcony and asked for help! Isaac had suffered quite a head injury, and the whole left side of his face was swollen and bloody. His rescuer opened the balcony door, and Isaac walked right into the house! Isaac relaxed palpably as soon as he was picked up, knowing he was safe at last. Medications for pain and to reduce inflammation, as well as soothing ophthalmic ointments, made Isaac feel more comfortable immediately, and gentle warm compresses for his face each day helped promote healing. Isaac’s left eye will always remain partially closed, and he’s lost sight in that eye, but he adapted with ease and is more than content to enjoy all the benefits of his new life. Isaac has established a consistent routine of snacking appreciatively from his seed dish and exploring the house to find all the best napping locations. Isaac says he’s just such a good little buddy and he knows his lucky adopter needs a fluffy potato-pidge friend of your very own!
