Hello everyone! My name is Harry, and I am male Indian Ringneck parrot. I am bonded with my female companion, Rodney. We are approximately 8 or 9 years old. Though we are bonded, we are caged separately in a very nice side by side cage. We love each other very much but just like married couples, we like our individual space too.

We are very friendly birds and smart too! We listen well and are very people oriented and love to ride around on our foster dad's shoulder. We also say, "what are you doing" and "pretty baby". We love our daily outside of the cage time and always spend it together playing with each other! The lanai is our favorite place.

We are fun birds, but our personalities are different. We both step up when we want, but I will step up more readily. I am a sweetheart and will give kisses and hang out on your shoulder. I am a pretty laid-back bird. Rodney is more dominant, and she really likes attention.

We are very active and social. We don’t go far when we are out of our cages, but we really enjoy hanging out on top and being together and exploring. We would need to be adopted in a home that allows us lots of out of cage time because being in our cages all day would be too stressful for us. We also prefer a quiet home with no dogs or children.

We are on a diet of seeds, pellets, and chop. We like nuts but are not a fan of fruit. Peanuts and pistachios are our favorite! We also enjoy sunflower seeds and will easily learn new things to be rewarded with our favorite treats!

We do not like mist baths, but do we bathe in our drinking water. So be ready for some splishing and splashing and then to refill our water bowl!

An avian veterinarian has properly vetted all birds before they are placed up for adoption. Adoption fees include the bird’s cage IF the bird has a cage - most do, but please ask!
