You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.<br/><br/>Hatch Date: 2013<br/><br/>Frankie is an adorable 12-year-old Umbrella Cockatoo, believed to be female.<br/>She is so so sweet and snuggly.<br/>She cuddles right up to you and is not afraid of new people.<br/><br/>She’ll say “hello” “goodbye” “uh oh” and “Frankie bird.”<br/>She gives full hugs with her wings spread out.<br/>She really is lovely.<br/><br/>Frankie doesn’t mind other animals around and isn’t afraid of the dogs by her cage.<br/>She is used to having music playing or the TV on.<br/>She hasn’t met many children in her life, and her behavior with them is unknown, but with her calm and friendly temperament, she likely would be fine with them, as long as she is respected.<br/><br/>Frankie likes wooden toys and anything that she can shred. She prefers walking around the house and climbing her cage and curtains.<br/>She will fly when spooked.<br/>She likes being on top of the curtain rod.<br/><br/>Music-wise she will bob her head to anything her family dances to.<br/>Her mom would sing the song Yankee Doodle Dandy to her, but replaces the word "yankee" with "Frankie".<br/><br/>Frankie doesn't care for the loud noise made by the vacuum cleaner much.<br/><br/>Frankie has been disease tested for Chlamydia and PBFD.<br/><br/>Frankie is being fostered in Hammonton, NJ<br/>She will only be adopted to a forever home within driving distance.<br/><br/>We will NOT ship our birds.<br/>Three visits are required to adopt Frankie.<br/><br/>For the Love of Birds is a group of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA.<br/>We do not have a central location.<br/>We only allow approved applicants to make visits.<br/><br/>If interested in adopting Frankie, you must be willing to make the required number of visits.<br/>Please visit our website ftlob.rescuegroups.org.<br/>Please read our adoption policies & procedures and complete an adoption application.
