Meet Federica (or "Feddy" for short), a vibrant Blue and Gold Macaw with a larger-than-life personality!<br/><br/>At around 30 years old, Feddy spent her life with a single loving owner until a recent move made it impossible to keep her. Now in foster care, she's settling in beautifully and letting her goofy, social side shine.<br/><br/>Feddy is friendly, treat-motivated, and enjoys human interaction, especially if you come bearing banana chips. She steps up confidently once she's comfortable, and while she's not afraid of hands, she does best with someone experienced in reading large bird body language.<br/><br/>She's a chatterbox who says "hello," throws out occasional wolf-whistles (on her terms, of course), and babbles happily in her own nonsense language. She loves a good dance session, bobs her head with enthusiasm, and enjoys showers and hanging out on top of her cage.<br/><br/>Feddy does have an old wing injury that prevents her from flying or fully extending one wing, but it doesn't slow her down. She loves to explore and stay engaged. She's still figuring out what toys she likes best, but she's becoming more outgoing by the day.<br/><br/>Important to know: Feddy is LOUD. She'll scream for attention and has a voice that can fill a house, so apartment or shared-wall living is not an option. Her ideal home is one with some large bird experience, plenty of space, and someone who appreciates a bird with a big voice and an even bigger heart.<br/>Adoption Fee: $600
