EILEEN's Story

MEET EILEEN! Eileen and their sibling, Margaret, are two bonded little parakeets that are warming up to people and other birds! They are very shy, and will need some time to warm up in a new space. We will need to approve a photo of their enclosure prior to adoption. Eileen has been seen by our vet team. For more information on Eileen or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please feel free to stop by one of our Animal Care and Adoption Center locations during open hours or call us at 617-426-9170. The Animal Rescue League of Boston is open Tuesday 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm by appointment only and Wednesday through Sunday from 1:00pm-6:30pm, excluding some holidays. Our Adoption Forward process starts with a visit to one of our Animal Care and Adoption Centers. Animal Rescue League of Boston's Adoption Policy

We require the following as part of the adoption process: - We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirement. - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older - A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird - Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier to bring home all adopted cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, and other small animals or birds of a larger size. All ARL Animal Care & Adoption centers offer new travel carriers for sale ($35 – $40 depending on size), along with gently used carriers, as supplies last ($10).
