Echo and Skye's Story
Hello beautiful people!! Our names are Echo and Skye. We are a very bonded pair of 7-month-old lovebirds, likely from the same clutch, and are looking for a patient, loving home to help them continue growing into confident companions.

My name is Echo (green with a peach head), and I am likely a female and already showing signs of being the more outgoing of the two. I am curious, playful, and often the first to explore new things.

My bonded bestie, Skye (blue), is likely a male and a bit more reserved, but he watches me closely and gains confidence by following my lead.

Our sexes are best guesses based on our behavior and appearance. A DNA test would be needed for confirmation (unless I decide to surprise everyone by laying an egg).

Because we are so closely bonded and likely siblings, we must be adopted together. We comfort one another, play side by side, and navigate new situations as a team.

We are both still very young and a little timid, which is completely normal at this age. With gentle handling, patience, and quality one-on-one time, we have great potential to become trusting, interactive companions. Our bond with each other helps us feel secure, and we respond best to calm voices, routine, and gentle, consistent interaction. We love to play, chatter with our adorable chirps, and bring constant movement and joy to the room.

Diet-wise, due to our small size, we are currently eating parakeet-size food (vet-approved). We’ve been open and curious about trying new foods and especially enjoy leafy greens.

We would thrive with someone who understands that trust takes time and is excited to watch two young lovebirds blossom together!

Echo and Skye would love a "Welcome to Foster" gift. You can view their list here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/11FKB4GS3OBKY?ref_=wl_share

Foster Location: Green Acres, FL

Interested in adoption? Please go to our website to fill out an application, view adoption fees and to read our adoption protocols at http://floridaparrotrescue.com/adopt-foster-application/

An avian veterinarian has properly vetted all birds before they are placed up for adoption. Adoption fees include the bird’s cage IF the bird has a cage - most do, but please ask!

Please e-mail us at adoptions@floridaparrotrescue.com for any questions!
