Dotty is a sweet Pekin girl who was abandoned on a neighborhood retention pond. Thankfully she was rescued, and we're so happy she was because she is the sweetest girl! Dotty absolutely loves people and will run right up to you asking for treats. Dotty was introduced to Dalton, another Pekin who was abandoned and left to fend for himself, and the two of them fell in love instantly! Dotty recently completed her quarantine period and received a fecal test which showed she was negative for parasites, so she is ready to start looking for her forever home! Dotty and Dalton are looking for an adoptive home that will provide them with a safe predator-proof coop/enclosure, professional veterinary care when they need it, and lots of love. Contrary to popular belief, a pond is not required for domestic ducks and they do remarkably well in suburban backyard spaces! We provide our adopters with one-on-one coaching, so if you are new to ducks or have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to us!
