Doodles is a sweet-natured 37 year old Lesser Sulfer Crested Cockatoo with a heart of pure gold. She has spent her entire life with one devoted family who loves her dearly. Because her elderly owner is no longer able to give her the care she needs, we are looking for a special home where she can continue to be cherished for the rest of her days.<br/><br/>Don't let her current photo fool you- Doodles is a bit camera-shy, so capturing her true glow is a work in progress! In person, her charming personality shines. Doodles has lived alongside dogs and doesn't mind cats (all with proper supervision). She does prefer calmer dogs and doens't like when dogs bark at her. Doodles seems to prefer women over men. Having been with one family her whole life, she thrives on stability, routine (including an early bedtime) and companionship. Their typical lifespan is 40-60 years but they can reach up to 70.
